Sometimes as a fishing guide we find ourselves hardly ever fishing. Seriously! Isn't it the reason we got into fishing in the first place? WE loved it, right? YES!
Teri and I jumped on the Honda ForeTrax this evening...went and did some scouting for the upcoming dove season and both found ourselves looking at one of the farm ponds on our property thinking: "Bet the fish are Biting." Sick as it may seem, we motored back to the house, grabbed the bass gear and went FISHING!
We started out working a spinner bait under a 7p.m. sun and whammmo, big fish ON! Fish bit Baby Brush Hogs, Spinner-baits and would not touch a buzz bait.
We got in right before dark and both our legs were itching something fierce from standing in tha tall grass. Oh well, tha' price you pay for fun.

Give a girl a fish and you feed her for a day. Teach a girl to fish and you feed her for a lifetime." Time to get that oil poppin'!
